High-tech Fractal Utilities incoming! It's a mini project I have ran through the last days. A context-sensitive desktop search engine for Apophysis parameters!
Don't look through a giant pile of XML using notepad anymore!
Don't open Apophysis and load file after file to find the flame you search for anymore!
Your pain shall be lifted. Start the tool, enter what you search for and get the result. Instantly.
I suggest you try it out yourself. But read the "readme" file before
It requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 including SP1. I suggest you install it. Windows 7 should have it preinstalled but you can never be sure. So maybe you want to download this 2.3 MB file and throw it over again if uncertain
Also, it looks like Windows Vista is having a hard time with this. The official requirements of my "Aqua" GUI library (which is used by this tool) includes Windows 7 anyway so using Vista and this tool happens at your own risk. You have been warned!

UPDATE 1.1.607.2205 Added some crash logging Added a warning log (which tell you when files are not loaded Fixed crashes with permission issues Fixed a bug where flames with "&" in the name were overseen Improved speed of the search engine
UPDATE 1.1.608.355 Fixed problem with nested folder structures (searched through only one level of subfolders) Moved configuration to "pfinder.xml" in the program's directory Added CLR Supervisor (Metaphysis' debugger) logging Embedded manifest file
UPDATE 1.1.608.2015 Moved the search window to the top of the screen Added possibility to minimize the search window (becoming a bar on the top of the screen) Fixed some threading issues
the actual download for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 including SP1 is 2.8mb + 29mb, I'm still downloading to test this later to see if it will work on my XP system as I just get an error when trying to run it now, takes a while on dialup Thanks for sharing
As soon as I saw this, I had to try it out. Works like a charm, beautiful tool to have at my disposal. The only issue I have is...always on top? Can't switch between the param finder and Apophysis very easily at all...since it's just...there, always
It's only a minor hindrance though, the program itself works flawlessly for me. Great work!
